The photocell plugs into the outside of a WAC landscape lighting magnetic power Supply case, and provides voltage to the unit in the absence of sunlight while blocking voltage during the day. Use a remote photocell (9000-PCR-GY) with wire when the power Supply is installed in an area that does not receive any direct sunlight.
